Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect the personal information you share with us.

Introduction

This policy refers to personal data, which is information about a living person (the “data subject”) that is not already in the public domain. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Irish Data Protection Act 2018 and the ePrivacy Regulations 2011 protect the rights of data subjects: the safeguarding of personal data, protection against its unlawful processing and its free movement within the EU. All Fix Roofing is pleased to provide the following information.

Who We Are

All Fix Roofing is the trading name of a sole trader roofing business based in Ireland. Questions about your data can go to info@allfixroofing.ie or by phone on 087 477 9677.

How We Handle Enquiry Data

When you send an enquiry through the forms on this website, we receive the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, Eircode, the service you are interested in and any message you add. We use them only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit and prepare a quote. The forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam, and submissions are delivered to us by email (using Postmark) through our website provider, Digital Five, which also keeps a secure backup copy so an enquiry is never lost. We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, in line with the retention policy below, and you can ask us to delete them at any time by emailing info@allfixroofing.ie.

Personal Data

We use the information you give us to provide our services and, where you have agreed, to tell you about services we think may interest you. You can opt out of any marketing contact at any stage. Some personal data may also come from records of our correspondence and phone calls, and from details of your visits to our website, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address.

We only collect the information we need to provide our services, and we do not sell or broker your data.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We will not pass your personal data to third parties unless it is needed to provide the service you have asked for, we have told you beforehand, it is for marketing under our legitimate interests, or the law requires it. Where it applies, that includes:

  • Our website provider, Digital Five, which runs this website and its forms
  • Analytics services (Google Analytics), only with your consent
  • Advertising networks (Google and Meta), only with your consent
  • Law enforcement agencies, regulators, courts or other public authorities, if we have to or are authorised to by law
  • A prospective buyer or seller, if we sell or buy any business or assets, to ensure continuity of service

These third parties may use your information only to carry out these tasks for us, and may not use or disclose it for any other purpose, except where the law requires it.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies can be “first party”, set by our website, or “third party”, set by another website.

Types of Cookies

  1. Necessary cookies: essential for the website to work. Without them, it would not function properly.
  2. Preference cookies: remember your choices and settings.
  3. Statistics cookies: show us how visitors use the website, so we can improve it.
  4. Marketing cookies: help show you more relevant advertising.

Under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Regulations we need your consent for every cookie that is not necessary. On your first visit a cookie banner lets you choose which categories you accept or reject, and you can change your choice at any time.

Google Services

The maps on our website are provided by Google Maps, and our Google Business Profile link takes you to our reviews. Both are provided by Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, and governed by Google’s privacy policy.

Where we use Google Analytics or Google Ads to measure visits and advertising, they run only after you accept statistics or marketing cookies. You can also opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Transfers to third countries are possible; as a safeguard, standard contractual clauses under Article 46 GDPR apply, and adequacy decisions apply where they exist.

Customer Reviews (Trustindex)

Customer reviews on this site are shown using Trustindex. To display them, your browser fetches the reviews from Trustindex’s servers, which receive your IP address; reviewer photos may load from the review platform (for example Google). Trustindex sets no cookies.

Meta (Facebook)

Where we advertise on Facebook and Instagram, this website may use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, to show our adverts to people who have visited the website and to measure whether those adverts work. They run only after you accept marketing cookies, and Meta processes the data under its own privacy policy.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

To take the steps you ask for before entering into a contract (replying to your enquiry and preparing a quote), to carry out that contract, and to meet our legal obligations.

Legitimate Interests

To promote the services offered by All Fix Roofing.

Consent

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by emailing info@allfixroofing.ie or by phoning 087 477 9677.

Disclosure

We may pass your personal information to third parties only to carry out work on our behalf, and they must handle it on our instructions, in line with this policy and the GDPR. We may also disclose it to meet legal obligations or valid requests from public authorities, or to prevent fraud or protect the rights, property or safety of All Fix Roofing, our customers or others.

Retention Policy

We keep personal data for the length of any contract and then only what is needed for seven years after it ends, to meet our legal obligations. After that, any personal data we no longer need is deleted. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted once we no longer need them to deal with the enquiry.

Data Transfers

Some of the services we use may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on EU adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses so that your data is protected to the standard the GDPR requires.

Your Rights as a Data Subject

While we hold or process your personal data, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: to request a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Right of rectification: to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Right to be forgotten: in certain circumstances, to have the data we hold about you erased.
  • Right to restriction of processing: where certain conditions apply, to restrict how we use it.
  • Right of portability: to have the data we hold about you transferred to another organisation.
  • Right to object: to certain types of processing, such as direct marketing, and not to be subject to automated decision making, including profiling.

If we refuse a request, we will tell you why, and you have the right to challenge that decision. To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm your identity before we release any of it. Requests can be made to info@allfixroofing.ie or by phoning 087 477 9677.

Complaints

If you wish to complain about how your personal data is processed by All Fix Roofing or its partners, please contact us first at info@allfixroofing.ie or on 087 477 9677. If you are not satisfied with our response, or do not hear back within 30 days, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, at dataprotection.ie.
